Specification for Model 9705 Power Supply

Operation

At power "ON", the strike pulse is delayed for a 30 second filament warmup at the high voltage setting (10VDC*). A 700 V strike pulse is applied to the Anode voltage. If the lamp ignites, the current is regulated at the Anode current setting (300*+-0.03 mA),The filament is kept at the high voltage level for another 30 seconds to stabilize the current. Then the filament is switched to the lower setting (7VDC*). If the tube does not ignite or the curent ceases, the Autostart cycle begins again.The factory voltage and current settings (*) listed above can be user adjusted.

Filament Voltage

  • Factory setting is 300.0 mA.
